As of 2018, Cilicia Journal of Philosophy will be published as 2 issues per year, April and October.
Articles for April issues are to be submitted by February 15th; articles for October issues are to be submitted by August 15th.
Authors are expected to make unique contributions to philosophical problems in accordance with their field of study. Manuscripts are accepted for publication on the understanding that they have been submitted solely to the Cilicia Journal of Philosophy and that they have not been previously published or submitted for publication.
The articles are taken into preliminary examination in terms of writing and reference rules before the editorial team sends them for peer review. For this reason, authors need to pay attention to the rules of spelling and reference. Articles in English are expected to have been proofread and edited prior to submission. Particularly if English is not your first language, before submitting your manuscript you may wish to have it edited for language. This may help to ensure that the academic content of your paper is fully understood by journal editors and reviewers. The authors shall be solely responsible for any grammatical or orthographic mistakes. Language editing does not guarantee that your manuscript will be accepted for publication.
The journal accepts submissions in Turkish and English. The articles should include an abstract of 100-250 words in English and Turkish, as well as up to 5 keywords for each language. Articles are expected to be in the range of 3000-6000 words (without bibliography), in Word format, prepared for blind review with a separate page containing author information. Manuscripts are to be prepared according to the Article Template. The information in the letterhead of the template shall be filled by the editorial team once the article is accepted for publication.
For reference system, footnotes and bibliography please refer to the 6th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual. For proper citation and references, please consult with our Reference Guidelines.
